Florfenicol

Florfenicol, is a bacteriostatic that inhibits the synthesis of proteins by binding to ribosomal subunits of susceptible bacteria that leads to the inhibition of peptidyl transferase and thus preventing the transfer of amino acids to the growing peptide chains and the subsequent formation of proteins, including many gram-negative and gram-positive organisms, however, florfenicol has no risk of inducing human aplastic anemia.
